“Cold Cold Night” Eliza Neals & Paul Nelson #BehindtheScenes

Here is “Cold Cold Night” the first run through when Eliza Neals arrived at Factory Underground Studios, (Norwalk CT) one weekend in October 2016. The whole crew had not arrived yet and Eliza Neals met up with Paul Nelson the extraordinaire guitarist, producer, manger and human. Eliza asked Paul to guest on her forthcoming sophomore blues-rock album #10000FeetBelow. Paul of course said yeah lets do it at his home base studio and he listened carefully as Eliza played the songs on piano a few passes then came up with his parts. The results are the stunning “Cold Cold Night (feat. Paul Nelson)” where you hear his beautiful and rare acoustic guitar playing. Paul was good to us that afternoon and Eliza Neals came away with that song in the can and another one that still has yet to see the light of day. Rest in Peace Paul Nelson you contributions to the music you so dearly loved and the people’s lives you made happy will not be forgotten.
