Detroit Music Awards – TWO National Nominations “Pawn Shop Blues”

Surprise we all can use one of those every once in a while. Well after being nominated in 2018 for my BluesRock album “10,000 Feet Below” in three or four areas of the DMAs, I was done. Apparently not according to the Detroit area musicians who vote. 

Thank You to the many many listeners who have heard my song across multiple platforms including BB Kings Bluesville Sirius XM…It’s great to be on two different ballots in the general category: Outstanding National Single & National Indie Label Recording. Well Iggy Pop, Suzi Quatro, Mitch Ryder, The Raconteurs, Detroit Cobras and Greta Van Fleet all got the same surprise, good company to be in. 

So now you know my music lovers and Detroit musicians, so go vote, you know the rest… “Nominations are truly winning,” so thank you for hearing and then listening.
