IL Popolodel Blues “Black Crow Moan” concrete review
Italian blues curator (Michele Manzotti) has given “Black Crow Moan” his tip of the hat in his latest review:
“Let’s get back to talking about Eliza Neals, detroit rock-blues musician. very active from a creative and record point of view. This time she relied on Joe Louis Walker (BB King’s collaborator) and Derek St. Holmes (formerly with Ted Nugent). There are many tools that support you, starting with Howard Glazer, which we have already talked about on these pages. The result is what Eliza had accustomed us to: a rock-blues of great basic solidity to songs that can please fans of the genre. Like The Devil Don’t Love You (featured Bruce Bears at hammond), watch me fly and never stray ballads, the rock’n’roll of Run Sugar Run, the title track. Few stylistic surprises, but a concrete and professional artist so much that she is appreciated by her majesty Mick Jagger on the occasion of the Mustique Blues Festival.”
Thank You Michelle glad to be concrete and professional hopefully to see you one day in Italy!
