No Depression and RockandBluesMuse LIVE REVIEW @ Briggs Farm
Check this out 👀Live performance reviews! 💪🏽❤️Standout performances from #BriggsFarmBluesFestival #LutherDickinson and #Detroit #bluesrock⭐️ Eliza Neals 🤩 thank you #Rockandbluesmuse and #NoDepression #Magazines for the mentions ! NO DEPRESSION “Now in its 27th year, the Briggs Farm Blues Festival is held on a 440-acre farm and presents, as its name implies, blues-oriented music on two stages. The #MainStage features the better known, farther-reaching acts, which this year included #TheNorthMississippiAllstars, #DuaneBetts & Palmetto Motel, and #UncleLucius. The #BackPorchstage features those playing the blues in a more traditional manner, such as Delta-born #LonnieShields, who made his 19th appearance at the fest. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💪🏽 Some of the buzzed-about highlights: When Allstars’ guitar wizard Luther Dickinson switched to bass, permitting bandmate Chris Chew to shine on #BobDylan’s “Gotta Serve Somebody” and #BBKing’s “Why I Sing the Blues;” and #Detroit’s #ElizaNeals’ cover of #EttaJames’ “I’d Rather Go Blind” and #JohnLeeHooker’s “Boom Boom Boom.” It was quite a fest, and Jim Gavenus was there with his camera.” https://www.nodepression.com/through-the-lens-woodyfest-and-briggs-farm-blues-festival/ Photo by #JimGavenus _________________________ ROCK & BLUES MUSE “Friday’s Main Stage began with a rousing set from Detroit-based Eliza Neals and her six-piece band that drew a sizable crowd to the front of the stage. Neals worked her way through recent material such as “United We Stand,” Color Crimes,” and “10,000 Feet Below” with a cover of Etta James’ “I’d Rather Go Blind,” the requisite cover of Detroit her, John Lee Hooker’s “Boom Boom Boom” and oft covered “Can’t Find My Way Home” from Blind Faith.” https://www.rockandbluesmuse.com/2024/07/16/review-27th-annual-briggs-farm-blues-festival/ Photo by Tina Pastor Check out some video Here; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L22PgjR8mOA
