THANK YOU “Outstanding Blues Songwriter” Detroit Music Awards 2015

Here I am, right after my friend and fellow songwriter Howard Glazer accepted the “Outstanding Blues Songwriter” award for me. I am pretty sure that I am the only woman to ever receive the award and for sure the only woman to receive it twice!

I ran into many of my friends and fellow musicians at the awards, as you can see in these photos. I did not get to see everyone but luv all of you xox! I am proud to say the Detroit Music Awards is a huge undertaking no other city does it like this! No matter who wins or loses you are all winners to me. All musicians, fans and the music community are invited to enjoy the splendor of the former State theater it’s a spectacle to see.
