The Blues Foundation Awards BMAS2017 Memphis TN – MusicMonday!
My second visit to the BMAs2017 was just as thrilling as my first two years ago! FIRST TIME Read See Here. I throughly enjoyed all the amazing performances from everyone. I saw our “Queen of the Blues” Thornetta Davis sang like she was supposed to baby, with Jim Simonson and Brett Lucas. Then Bettye LaVette, Cedric Burnside, Annika Chambers and super Kenny Neal smashed the joint down so nice! What a party the music did not stop the awards show is just superior for witnessing all your favorite bands. See the photos below cause the jams continue into the night all up and down the joint on Beale Street, across town, in the basement, everywhere!
Blues Hall of FAME induction ceremony included: Henry Gray, Latimore (coolest hair award,) Magic Slim and more so much more! Check out the Blues Foundation for all the winners and nominees congratulations to all of you! A Statue of “Bobby Blue Bland” was unveiled to the love of Memphis, I won’t spoil you here so please find it and see it!
